OUR DENTAL PRACTICE APPRAISAL PROCESS & REPORT

No single appraisal method captures a practice’s value.  Any single method is blind to some aspect of a specific practice’s value.  To capture the fair market value of a dental practice, multiple appraisal methods must be utilized and then appropriately considered in determination of the final fair market value.

 

Our appraisal process utilizes the following four (4) methodologies:

 

1. Single Period Capitalization Of Earnings;

2. Asset Summation — With Goodwill Revenue Based;

3. Asset Summation — With Goodwill Earnings Based; and,

4. Market Transactional Data.

 

Quality appraisals increase the chances for a successful practice sale, or purchase.  They:

 

1. Provide and document the practice’s value for both seller and buyer;

2. Explain and document the practice’s value to the buyer’s advisors (e.g. accountant); and,

3. Document the value to support the buyer’s purchase loan application process.
